: We are a non-profit association interested in the promotion and furtherance of bluegrass music – we are initiating a sponsorship endowment fund with which we hope to underwrite special events to promote the music (e.g., we already operate a very successful ‘Bluegrass in the Schools’ project utilizing membership dues). We also intend to use the sponsorship to support and annual Heritage Concert series – our goal is bring ‘masters’ of bluegrass to this part of the country as a way to ensure that bluegrass remains a viable music into the future. Naturally we are trying to keep costs reasonable and plan to subsidize the concert so young people, especially, can get in for a modest charge.

: We are tentatively looking at April 6, 2002 for our first Heritage Concert and I would like to know your availability and your rates for a concert. We will decide within the next couple of months on a band, or bands, for the concert. I look forward to hearing from you.
