Earl and Bill Monroe, the early years

Earl, I have in my possession, an old sheet of paper autographed by Earl Scruggs, Lester Flat, Bill Monroe, Cedric Rainwater and Chubby Wise. All signatures were followed with W.S.M. I'm told that this probably dates back to the late 40s and was Bill Monroe's original group. Can anyone enlighten me on it?
