I would love for Earl to receive this message.

My Father Kenny Miller starting picking the banjo at the age of 13. He played with Bill Monroe at the age of 16 and was offered a position to travel with Bill. My father's parents felt he was too young.

After all these years I never knew that one time when my Dad was playing at the New River Ranch he was picking one of Earl's number (Dear Old Dixie) and a spectator said that they saw Earl step out of his bus to listen to him play. He never brags and when he receives a compliment that his playing is top notch quality, he just turns and says, "No one could ever compare to Earl!"

For his 50th birthday we suprised him with an Earl Scrugg's Mastertone. My Dad is needing help in finding someone who can correct his banjo. He said that the Banjo feels that it just does not have the tone that it used to. Does anyone know any top notch tuners that could correct this for him.

Thanks for any help.

Lori Wright
