Does anyone know approximately when that last fingerpicks with a patent no. and USA stamp was issued?
I would like to find some old Nationals but I frankly don't know exactly what do look for. Any clues?
Here's what I know so far:
The earliest ones have patent pend.
Then in the 40s and 50s they added the patent #.
In the 60s, added USA.
Until mid-60s the holes on the wrap are off center.
I know that the newest ones have a sharper blade, National is upside down with no patent or USA.
