You also may want to drive down the road to York, SC to Bluegrass Thursday Night. Happens on the first and third Thursdays of the month at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church. Over 500 people show up and many, many banjo players who teach show up to play. This is about 20 miles away from Shelby.
