what is a good banjo?

I need help...I know Gibson is one, if not the best banjo..however I cannot afford one. I am looking at an Oscar Schmidt OB5 and a Fender FB55. Which one is better? Or should I be looking at another brand? I am just learning but want to get a nice banjo that will last me many years and allow me to grow as a player. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
