I,ve been listening to many kinds of banjo pickins since the early 60s`and especially Bonnie & Clyde Movie & The Beverly Hillbillies T.V. Shows with Flatt & Scruggs music
Very Happy to have Earl Scruggs pickin style to follow, as, since I, was 28 yrs old, I, never purchased a 5 string banjo. only hung out playing guitars for over 40 yrs.& an old Tenor Vega banjo.Thank You! Earl for all the Good Music! Now, I have a Gold Tone CC100R since last Oct 02 & I`m learning & playing the Banjo non stop almost every day, and at 56yrs.with much guitar exp. am catching on to this Wonderful Instrument!"The 5 String Banjo", already know a few songs like Cripple Creek, Dixie, Oh! Susana,Auld Lang Syne & more etc.in a nice 3 finger picking style to.
Recently purchased Earl Scruggs And The 5 String Banjo Instruction Book & Cassette tape.It`s Very Helpful! and an Excellent Book & Tape.
