Earl truly appreciated this man's music and the influence that the Bashful Brother had in country music. Impeccable dobro and wonderful oldtime banjo...one of the men that we all looked up to, in the same light as we looked at Mother Maybelle and Roy Acuff...one of the last members that built the Grand Ole Opry to where it is today...and who was probably looked over by Opry officials who thought he represented the Old Guard. God bless this man, the talent, and influence that he had in our business...there will never be another link to what we hold sacred, except for Earl and Ralph. Godspeed, Brother Oswald, and may you see the Great Speckled Bird.
