Just a small comment, Emmylou Harris is not a bluegrass artist. In fact she was on the cutting edge of country rock when she was discovered by Gram Parsons. It wasn't until the 70's that she played anything close to BG. At that time, Ricky Scaggs joined her "Hot Band" and convinced her to do the "Roses In The Snow Album". Dolly Parton may be closer to BG than you think. She was raised in the environment. Her first BG album was filled with BG notables (e.g. Jerry Douglas, Jim Mills, etc).
