Thank you a thousand times for all the musical joy you've given me the last 30+ years I've been listening to your music. Not just to me, but to all the world.
I saw Flatt and Scruggs at The Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco in the late 1960s, the first time I had ever heard bluegrass and you. A week later I was taking my first banjo lesson and your picture was on my wall. The banjo and your music has seen me through good times and bad, and has always been a source of inspiration.
